Equipment

  • small cookie sheet
  • measuring spoons

Ingredients  

  • 1 Schmidt 647 hoagie roll
  • 3.5 oz Italian meatball crumbles
  • tbsp Kraft fat free shredded mozzarella (see note)
  • 3 tbsp no sugar added Prego

Instructions

  • Preheat the broiler. I set mine on low.
  • Place the roll(s) on a foil lines cookie sheet.
  • Spread the meatball crumbles on the roll.
  • Spread the tomato sauce on top of the crumbles.
  • Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella over the sauce and crumbles.
  • Place the sloppy giuseppes under the broiler until the cheese is melted and the roll slightly toasted.
  • Serve and enjoy.

Notes

If you use a slice of Sargento reduced fat provolone or a slice of ultra thin provolone, break the slice in half and place on top of the crumbles and sauce. You will need to adjust the points for this substitution.
